I would recommend *NOT* using castor oil! It will maybe
do a good job at first, but after a while castor oil will leave a gummy
varnish like residue that can become difficult to remove! I would
definitely stick to some mineral/petroleum based oil. If you could
get it, sperm whale oil would have no equal!
The De-Oxit or something similar would be recommended.
