        Not just the Aussie coast stations Jeff - it looks like the
        original digital mode will be a fond memory on all marine bands
        from 1 February. The 2 kW m.f tx at VIM would make a nice AM rig
        for 160m with A3 instead of A2.

        I wonder what will happen to the spectrum 420-520 kHz?
