 I have a pair of Soviet ( now Russia? ) walkie talkies made in the early
80's. These are Model 62P1 and are FM and work in the 140 Mhz range. C/w
antennas and speaker/ microphones, I can assure the buyer/trader that
everthing works OK 'cept one speaker/ mic needs attention and one battery
box flap is missing. These radios are in a "hip flask" shaped box that is
green/grey hammertone finish. The antenna's are of the flex type ( string )
with a safety pin on one end and a counterpoise adjacent.

The 62P1 radios were built for Soviet Internal Security use and by Airborne
Forces too. ( as I am told...!) This I do know, I have had them for several
years and got them from someone who spent time in Afghanistan amongst "the
hill people"!@# They have provenance.....
