Collins 75A4 Questions

Hi Bill,

Congrats on your new 75A4 find.

On the front panel being "grungy".  The grunge could be due to dirt, wear,
or nicotine.  If its dirt, the detergent soap should do a nice job.  Liquid
detergent soap won't take nicotine off, so if it doesn't clean up very well,
be suspicious of nicotine.  My 75A4 was loaded with nicotine and it took a
while to get thorough it down to the paint.  It came to me looking "tired"
and had a worn look to it.  After cleaning the nicotine off, the real colors
and texture came out (not off).  I used GOJO WHITE (not the pumice version)
and a tooth brush, and lots of rags.  Worked great.
