OId Vibroplex

To all B/A Vibroplex experts.  A question:  I have acquired an old
Vibroplex bug of natural brass (unplated) construction parts.  Small
brass tag labled, "84,356 Nov. 28, 1911  and Horace G. Martin, New York,
USA."
The brass has a natural aged patina, dull brownish color.  Is it wise to
leave it alone or polish it up? Would  like to do the right thing. Thanks
