Your impressions on the HRO-500 please

     Bob:

     Not having owned one personally, I perhaps was a little less critical.
     But what you say, is what I've heard.  Thought I wanted one, but now I
     know better.  Thanks for the response....

Cory  and  Group  the  HRO  500 is a  very  temperamental radio.  The  phase
lock loop  loves  to  just  drop out  for  no  reason...  Band switching  is
difficult  because  of  this....  De Oxit  is  for  sure  cans and cans
needed...  Alignment  takes  lots  of  gear  and  a  long  time,,,  Almost  no
one  around
that  fully  understands  the  radio...  I  have  had  two  and  sold  two
will  not own  another...
My  opinion  only....
