Pink radio ?

Back many yars ago, when I was knee-high to an 807, I remember seeing an ad
in ham magazine (QST probably) for pink National or Hammarlund receivers.
It was probably in the late 50's or early 60's.  What the manufacture was
attempting to do was attract female buyers.  I guess pink was a popular
color then.  I do remember you could buy pink refrigerators and stoves
(yuk).  Now did I have a bad dream or did this really happen?  Wonder if
anyone remembers seeing the ad and if so, has anyone ever seen a factory
painted pink radio?
