Build vs Buy Antenna switch box

Getting around to a "plumbing" job so I switch one of 4-5 antennas to
one of 6-7 radios.  Any thoughts about the wisdom of wiring your own vs
a store bought one?  Have plenty of heavy ceramic wafers and SO-239's to
handle the HF/VHF power I would anticipate after my tech-plus test in a
month or so.  I can wire a set of shorting and non-shorting switches
together so all used antennas and sets are grounded.   Little concerned
about lead length from jacks to switchs if I use a mini-box I have.
