Hi Paul,
No HF frequencies have ever been auctioned. HF is becoming a grave
yard. The future of commercial comms is UHF+.

Hams have gained HF spectrum (WARC '79) and an NTIA proposal has us
being awarded even more (I'm looking forward to the 5 MHz sliver).
