Boatanchor/Surplus haunts in Portland OR. ??

Hi Gang --

1st vacation in years (I'll miss my babies -- Collins, Drake, & 390A), but
it's time to get away for a while.  Of course I was wondering if there are
any kindered souls or wonderful hangouts for us hollow state types in the
Portland, Oregon area.

Someone mentioned Whackie Willies.  Is that still a happening place?  What
sort of things might one stumble upon?  And any other folks or BA
establishments to check out.  Thanks a bunch and if I do any good in the BA
department, I'll report back.
