FS: SX-101 Mk III $125.00

Hallicrafters SX-101 Mk III serial number 199818. Comes with an extra
cabinet. Overall condx is fair. Front panel is pretty nice but missing two
of the small knobs like the ones on the ant trim control. The main tuning
knob is cracked. Front panel should clean up pretty good. Inside is not too
bad. Not grossly corroded, just a many decades of dust and grime. Actually
receives pretty good but some of the controls are scratchy.

The 100kc calibrator has a bad tube (it crapped out recently, until then the
cal. was working).

I have been using this to rcv wide bandwidth SSb xmissions on 3.840mhz and
14.177mhz. Sensitivity is great.

So overall it needs a lot of chassis cleaning. The front panel plastic trim
piece that is molded around the knobs is fair. Should be removed and
restored for proper look.

Sorry but no manual.

Sell the rcvr and extra cabinet as a set only for $125 plus UPS ground
charges on 60 pounds. Rcvr will go in one box and the extra cabinet in
another.
