Sorry I can't help you on the difference Fred, but you can get a copy of the
manual off the Boatanchors Manual site.

Type the following in your web browser URL area:

ftp://bama.sbc.edu/downloads/

You will see a folder for the different manufacturers.  Just select Gonset and
then the folder for the G77.  At least you will have the manual for one of
them.  The whole manual is in pdf format so you will need to get Acrobat Reader
off the web (it's free) if you don't already have it.
