My handy-dandy Sams Substitution guide shows a 7189 or a 7189A as
a sub for the 6BQ5.

The RCA tube manual (RC-28) shows that a 6BQ5 is also an EL84.

According to the RCA book, the 6BQ5 and the 7189 are just about
the same. RC-28 doesn't show the 7189A.

If you want the full specs, let me know.
