Question about Icom 22S

Does anyone recall ever seeing instructions for the diode programming
procedure on an ICOM IC-22S FM transceiver?

I have someone really needing help with it.

If anyone has an old manual with the onformation or access to an index of 73
Magazine etc., I know there were some good articles back in the early to
mid 1970s about these rigs...

Anyone able to help?
