Wanted: Info or Electrolytic Caps

Ron, if you were to disassemble one of the 700 volt caps such as in the
Rangers, you would find 2 400 volt caps in series. As todays
electrolytics are extremely close in values they can be seriesed without
balancing resistors.  Do not try this with caps which have been on the
shelf for 5 years or more.
  I have replaced the caps in many Rangers as well as others in this
manner.
