Bob,

Check out ARRL's "Low Power Communication" book by Richard Arland, K7SZ. It
devotes four pages to a discussion of this unit and its companion receiver,
the S-53. Says the HT-18 is an exciter/VFO manufactured 1947-1949. Describes
the restoration process (recapping, etc.) and vacuum tube QRP in general.
