...then in one week, NEXT Sunday, is THE EVENT for putting those
boatanchors (and doorstops) ON THE AIR - the bi-annual Classic Radio
Exchange ("CX").

     As we go into our second quarter-century, next millenium,
new century, etc., what better to celebrate where we come from?

     CX - first Sunday in February - nine hour contest/operating
event designed for us quality gear aficionados - where your score
multiplier comes from the combined AGE of all equipment you put
on the air, and with which you make at least three QSO's.

carefully turn on that large beast in the corner - check for smoke -
and let the world hear the old critter sing agian!
