Plate caps

I've been wondering about the same kinda thing.  I've got a 3B28 rectifier
that's loose in it's base, & a cupla tubes, 807's, 6146's, with loose caps, some
fallen off.  Seems like I've seen somewhere how  to fix it, but don't know
where/when now.  I'd think epoxy type would be a problem, setup too hard & not
have the same thermal expansion as the terminal lead, or glass, & might cause
cracking.  But what to use  - somebody help us.
