I should have indicated that RFI on the AM broadcast band is coming in before the AFG control thus eliminating speaker leads as the culprit. FM band and CD mode RFI has been cleared up, when unit operated on AC power, by using split ferrite on AC power cord RFI exists on AM band whether unit is operating from batteries (w/ AC cord removed) or AC power.
