Lavoie LA-6 Freq. Meter

Greetings,
Also saved this true boatanchor from the dump. It's very nice, but what
is it really? Appears to be a frequency meter covering 200-500 mhz.
Anyone have one, or a manual for one of these?

Or is it a nice stash of parts for some future home brew project in this
day of requency counters, service monitors, etc?
