[MilSurplus] what is a navy 'MAY' radio? have bottom unit for one!

great! sounds like I am destined to  hunt to find the radio now! I think I
have the battery that went on the bottom.... green about 4 inches thick and
looks like something clamps on top ( like the radio!)
