I agree 100%. I no longer ship via UPS. For non-fragile items, I could
live with the delays, lost packages etc - but will not put up with the
extreme difficulty getting an insurance payment from them.

For lighter packages, I use US Mail. I have never had a packaged damaged
or lost in over 10 years. I don't even insure them - I will eat the loss
myself if damage occurs.

For heavier/bulky packages, I use FedEx. I have always received excellent
service - and their prices are often no higher than UPS.
