Collins 75S- series preselector dial overlays

Several people had asked me about the "white labels"
on my 75S-1 and 75S-3A receivers in the photos on the
K9STH website. I made up these dials about 25 years
ago to show the calibraton for the preselector for the
entire 3.4 to 30 MHz range instead of just for the
amateur 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meter bands. A couple
of those same people asked about the availability of
these overlays.

Thus, I have re-created the artwork and "dressed up"
the overlays a bit. You can see these at
http://home.attbi.com/~zcomco if interested. The
"link" is the 5th from the bottom.

I have found that using a "glue stick" for the
adhesive doesn't attack the paint on the front panel
and also allows the overlay to be removed and reused
on another receiver. As such the overlays are
furnished without any adhesive.

By using an overlay, it is easy to set the receiver
for the WARC bands, for MARS, for CAP, etc. without
having to "remember" the exact position.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to
contact me.

Thanks

Glen, K9STH
