Re Gates batteries

Thanks to all who responded with info on gates batteries. Again, seems like
I'm the only person on earth who hadn't seen them. This is worst than a
virus scare. I collect old batteries and have a collection of some weird and
wonderful specimens.

PS. Here is a post from Michael Fletcher in case ya all didn't see it.

I have a couple "Sixpacks" that form a 12VDC 2.5AH battery pack. They are
the ones that are larger than a D Cell and shrink wrapped together. Nice
'lil battery pack for Ham Radio lowpower transceivers, and I got them from
Altronics for $12 ea.
