Fellow Boat-Anchorites,
Trying to find the "black" command transmitter that was used on 40
meters in another lifetime. I had one when I was a 16-yr old Novice in
1957, and nostalgia has struck again! I'd like to find one to convert
and put on 40 cw. I'm a little confused at the point of what the actual
military part number is. But I'd definitely like the black crinkle
finish instead of the aluminum finish.
The BC-459-A covers 7.0 - 9.1, but the ones I've seen are in the
aluminum finish. (Part of the SCR-274-N set)
The T-22 covers the same frequencies but is part of the ARC-5 set.
That'a about all I can find out. If you have what I'm looking for or
just want to enlighten my ample ignorance concerning part numbers, I
would really appreciate it. Thanks!
73,
Ron - K5MVR
