WTB rectifiers and FS 2KVA Xfmr

HI--  The 5AR4/GZ34 is a very high (priced) end tube much desired by the
auddioo people .New runs the gamut of 60 bucks for an original nos
Mullard to about 12 for the chinese. A 5Y3 gt fits the socket if not
overloaded by the circuit.
If you have room a 5R4 G is a decent replacement. as to your 5AT4, are
you sure that you did not mean a 5T4?
If you did, use a 5U4 GT.  now I am confused!
