2D21 vs. 5727 redux

Many thanks to Keith, Bruce & Scott for your quick answers.
It seems that the 5727 is a GE 5 star (long life) version of the 2D21.
So, for all of you that own KWS-1's, looks like putting a 5727 in the
2D21 socket is a better approach to protecting the screens of the 4X150
or 4CX250B PA tubes, which is where this question was heading in my
case.
