What radio did ALF use?

Bob,

One of my favorite TV shows. I thought I remember seeing a Clegg unit and then
some other test gear on the shelves out in his garage/radio shack. I wonder is any
of the production people on that show were hams? I do remember the EICO unit on
the Andy G. / Mayberry show located in the sherriff's office.
