Hi Gang,
That is a chairside radio. Might be a Zenith. It doubles as an end table
and radio. The round thing on the top is the dial. The square thing on the
top is where you place you lamp. The "spigot" is actually part of the
display table. The rest of the table leg is obscured by the chairside
radio.

This picture gives me an idea (note what looks like a coffee machine
under the table) -- one might speculate that the spigot coming out of
the front is a gooseneck mic and that there is a rig built into the main
chassis (I know, I am in hamfest withdrawal)

It would be interesting to see pictures of boatanchor homebrew rigs and
radio room accessories built into unexpected chassis.
I have seen a picture of a PC built into a stainless steel breadbox,
looked neat -- one can imagine the same being done with a small homebrew
rig. Last I knew an old friend had gutted a microwave oven and was
building a rig into it.
Anyone have something to share?
