Two problems with a TR-4C that I'm repairing.  (1) Intermittent noise bursts which sound like 80 or 40 QRN and registers up to S-1 or 2 on S meter.  Antenna disconnected.  Noise is generated before S-meter circuit or AFG control  (2) VFO when set to zero beat at "0" end of a band is reading about 4 Kc high at "500" end of dial.  Crystal calibrator is set correctly.
