Factoids - is this a new spam tactic?

Interesting.  I also got a 'reply' from 'Mark' and have gotten one every
now and then ---- certainly not very often but usually when I have sent
something to the list (like the one that got 'Mark's latest reply).  I
also just delete it.  I never go to any site to acknowledge anything, etc.
