Long cabinet rods for Valiant

Hi Richard,
    These must be the most frequently missing items from the Johnson
transitters, and probably pretty hard to find originals.
    But, threaded rod of the proper size (#6 I think?) is available at
some hardware stores & maybe hobby shops, you can cut the proper length &
use the same sized acorn nut crewed on tight or with Loctite, and who'd
know the difference from the outside?
    Did you sell the SP-600 at Raleigh?  Sorry I didn't get a chance to
chat with you there.
