Feedback on Eico 723 meter 'bounces'

Back in the 1950s and very early 1960s, the "moving
vane" type of meter was so common on transmitters that
no one really noticed the "bouncing"! The bouncing
doesn't seem to hurt the meter, and one soon got used
to the meter and then it wasn't a "problem"!

The old Heath DX-20, AT-1, and DX-35, along with the
Johnson Adventurer and WRL Globe Chief and Globe Scout
equipment were just a few of those transmitters that
used the moving vane type meters.

All with an opinion said that was normal with the 723
or any similiar 'low end' transmitter (e.g. Heathkit
AT-1, Johnson Adventurer, etc). Boy, I sure would
have a problem living with that!
