Feedback on Eico 723 meter 'bounces'

I have a 723 that has  D'Arsonval movement, so I guess it was the vintage or
luck of the draw as to what you got.  The old Shurite meters were moving
vane, and there were tons of those used in homebuilt equipment.  I would
guess that if the bounce were too objectionable, you could place a 1-10 uF
electrolytic cap across the movement to damp it.
