WRL Linear Amp Model LA-1

[Walter S. Szachara]

Back in the late 1950's, I had a Globe Scout 680A driving a the LA-1
amplifier on six meters.  I did not use any swamping devices, but maybe the
50 MHz. output was low enough that it was not needed.  Brings back many good
old memories, especially the smell of the EL-38's in the LA-1 in
operation...:-)
