Detrola BC-1206A Schematic & History?

I recently received a neat little Detrola BC-1206A
200-400KC Beacon Receiver in a swap.

I have searched the Internet only to find lots about
the BC-1206, BC-1206C, and BC-1206CM, but very little
about the BC-1206A by Detrola.

I did read an old post that noted that the "A" version
used a different set of five tubes (the 1206 was 6 tubes),
using mostly 6 volt tubes but a 28d7 audio output. I have
observed that the faceplate is laid out differently as well.

Anyone have information about this little gem?

Anyone have a schematic, manual, etc?
