The AR-1 had an optional gray metal cabinet and a different front panel, and
the picture you have appears to be one of those. Quite rare if it is indeed
an AR-1 with that option.

It definitely is NOT an AR-2.  The AR-2 is very similar in looks to the
AR-3.  It may be an AR-1, but I have never seen an AR-1 so I cannot tell one
way or the other.

You can go to BAMA and download the AR-2 manual to see what the AR-2 looks
like.
