Help with off topic

It don't really qualify as a boat anchor but it's old and heavy. I have found in my junque an Azden PCS 3000 2 meter rig. All doc's are gone. Can anyone tell me the operation of the little slide switch just above the power input cable plug-in? Don't want to blow things up though it would be no biggie. Fred W7PRV
