Hmm

The last time I was on 20 the skills displayed by some 2x1 calls made me
hope than new blood will silence the rude and obnoxious behaviour of those
who have the code. I'm a skilled technician, better than most and have a
wall of paper to prove it. I was an HF specialist for Collins, CBC and Bell
Canada. But until Canada dropped the code I couldn't operate while some one
who memorized the test and squeaked the code got on. It has happened, live
with it. Mentor the new hams coming over to voice. You will be amazed at
the talent that exists outside HF. Being bitter about keeping an old
technology is pointless. If CW skills were to be an adequate filter to keep
unqualified amateurs out it has failed a long time ago.
