Gonsets Arriving! 6146 Types OK?

The 6146, the 6146A/8298, and the 6293 will work fine.
 The 6146B/8298A and the 6146W/7212 with a code date
of 1965 or after (these are 6146B equivalents) may
cause problems.  Any 6146W with a code date of 1963
and before are the equivalent of the 6146A and those
made in 1964 could be either one.

For the article on the 6146 family of tubes that
appeared in Electric Radio a while back and has been
reprinted in several other publications since then go
to either of the websites the URL of which is listed
at the end of this message.
