The Unbuilt HW-101

Precisely so!
What makes others happy may seem ridiculous to us... but we're hardly a
normal lot, judged by "normal" people. And who the heck is someone else to
judge how someone spends their own money?
More power to 'em. I've got a good friend locally who has quite a number of
unbuilt Heathkits back into the 50s...likewise unbuilt Knight, Eico,
Johnson and Macintosh. I don't see the appeal to the degree he does, but
I'm glad someone's interested in them. I think he could care less about
the "investment" aspect.
And I certainly wouldn't insult them as "fools" ... (and neither would
anyone who's ever met the gentleman, he's quite accomplished, creative and
interesting!)
Eccentric? Maybe, but it's eccentric people who make the world an
interesting place.
Why be normal?
