Hello,
Does anyone have any experience using lighting arrestors like the ones on top of the utility poles for ham applications? I have a couple and was wondering if they have any value for ladder line lightning protection? One of the ones I have are on the follwing link: http://www.cooperpower.com/library/pdf/23535.pdf. They are the UHS series on page 6 and are 6kV rated. Since these are designed for 60Hz, I was wondering if there will be any affect as the frequency increases?
Thanks,
Ted, N1XLW
