816 Substitute?

Hi, guys...  can anyone suggest a substitute for the 816 mercury vapor
rectifier tube?  This would be similar to the 3B28 sub for the 866A.
Several hours of research on the net was to no avail.

One of a pair of the 816's in a P&H LA-400C linear amp was broken in
shipment so I'm considering the alternatives.  Tnx es 73
