SB-1000

Hi All,
 
    Have just purchased a sb-1000 for my station,I am wanting to convert this 
amp to 240 a/c.The amp is currently set for 120 a/c,In the instructions in 
the manual advises to remove the wire that joins the tabs re #1 to #2,Upon 
opening the cover I see that the wire was allready removed from re 1&2  I have not 
had the amp on the air as yet do to seeing this wire missing on 120v.  Would I 
be safe and continue on with my voltage conversion on my RD Tabs,Many Thanks
