Two Gonset Questions - source for "TV cheater cords"

TV cheater cords are also available from Antique Radio Supply
www.tubesandmore.com     for under $2.00.  Just put the word "cheater" in
their website search box. . .

Remembering my old teen-age days fixing TV sets, they come in polarized and
non-polarized versions.  The polarized version has unequal size pins. . .
on the non-polarized version (much more common) both pins are the same size.
Of course, the pins are on the chassis, not on the cord plugs. . .

Could you use an old "TV Cheater Cord?"

If it is the same two prong connector, then those are easy
to find at hamfests usually.
