There are also *questions* about CW - the unique CW "proficiency test"
was (and is) *less* necessary than a test of proficiency with a scope
because 100% of Hams are required to monitor spectral purity 100% of
the time - regardless of mode.
Anyhow, the horse has been beat near to death yet again, probably
we should let it go. :-)
Oh, BTW: The article title is not even accurate - CW does not
need to be "saved" it is alive and well. Perhaps he should
tune his dial across a few more bands! :-)
