Here are some items for sale. Prices do not include shipping unless
noted. I will ship overseas.
Heathkit SA-2500 Auto Tune Antenna Tuner with 4:1 Balun and Original
Manual.........$500 plus shipping
This has a Frequency Range of 1.8 to 30 MHz continuous and a Power
Capability for SSB of 2000 Watts Peak and 1000 watts for CW. This tuner
has a number of other features including a built-in antenna switch which
will allow three antennas. It also has the optional SA-2500-1 4:1 Balun
installed. This has been tested and is working however the presets for
the 17M and the 12M bands are not working. It is clean inside and out.
The case does have some scratches but nothing objectionable.
Rare” National Radio NC-45.............$100 plus shipping
This is an 8 tube receiver made from 1941-1945 covering 550 kHz to 30
MHz. Most models made were made the NC-45 which is an ac/dc receiver.
The NC-45A has a transformer operated power supply. This radio does work
and receives signals on all bands but it really need to be recapped and
aligned. Cosmetically OK but also needs to be cleaned up. It has all of
the correct knobs and I do not find any extra holes. The insides look
OK but also need to be cleaned up. One interesting thing that I noticed
is that the main tuning and bandspread knobs are both weighted, rather
heavy and appear to have come from the factory that way. I do not have a
manual but they are available from several sources on the web. I will
include a schematic.
Hallicrafters SX-43 Receiver with Manual....$140 plus shipping
The receiver works but would benefit from a restoration. I listened to
signals on the AM broadcast band, WWV at 5, 10 and 15 MHz as well as
signals on several short wave bands. I did not hear signals on the
higher bands or on the FM band so I would assume it needs help. The
s-meter works, the BFO and crystal filter work. Cosmetically, it has
lots of scuffs and scratches as can be seen in the photos. It has all of
the correct knobs. It does not have any dings, dents or extra holes.
This is a a heavy receiver. Includes a photocopy of the manual.
Heathkit IB-5281 RLC Bridge and Manual...$45 plus shipping
This is a compact instrument that can be used to check the value of
resistors, capacitors and inductors. It can be operated from a battery
or the Heathkit IPA-5280-1 Power Supply. This unit is in very good shape
and is working. It includes a photocopy of the manual. This unit is part
of the 5280 series of stackable test equipment.
Hewlett Packard HP 711A High Voltage Bench Supply....$140 plus shipping
This is a regulated high voltage power supply with an output of 0-500
volts dc with a maximum current of 100 mA. Unregulated ac output is 6.3
volts at 6 amps maximum and 12.6 volts center tap at 3 amps maximum. The
supply has two meters. The current meter measures 0-100 mA and the volt
meter measures 0-500 volts or 0-50 volts with the push button. If you
are building tube amps or tube type ham radio equipment, this is a great
bench supply being that it will supply your high voltage and your
filament voltage for both 6.3 volt and 12 volt tubes. Includes a
photocopy of the HP 711A manual.
1925, 1926, 1927 QST Magazine-Entire Year in QST Binder.........$90 per
year plus shipping
The entire year (12 Issues) of 1925 QST's in the official ARRL QST
binder. The binder shows wear but the actual issues are in very good to
excellent condition considering they are over 80 years old.
TenTec Electro-Voice 729 Microphone.....$45 plus shipping
EV Electrovoice 729 High Impedance Microphone with stand. This mike has
a tenTec logo so it probably sold by TenTec for use with their ham radio
equipment. Cosmetically the mike looks good but is missing some paint in
places. I hooked the mike up to my Bogen amp and it is working. Sounded
very good with nice strong audio when listening to it. It is currently
wired with a 2 pin microphone connector most likely wired for use with a
Johnson Ranger or a Johnson Valiant transmitter.
Zenith Royal 790 "Super Navigator" Transistor Radio....$15 plus shipping
This is a 3 band, 1962 radio covering long wave, one short wave band and
the broadcast band. The radio is not working. Cosmetically not bad
except fro some eaten away leather on one bottom back corner. Restore
this or use it for parts.
Heathkit DX-60 Transmitter Original Manual...$20 shipped
Assortment of 22 Variable Capacitors and Trimmers ....$25 plus shipping
Large Transmitter Coil on Ceramic Form..........$20 plus shipping
The dimensions are 8 inches long by 3.5 inches in diameter. Their are
two coils within the inside of this coil that rotate and are adjusted by
a shaft protruding through the coil. I have no idea what transmitter
this might have come out of.
73 and thanks for looking.
