Vintage SWR Bridge and other HF and related accessories For Sale:
Ameco Model BIU, SWR Bridge
This is apparently an older unit that matches much of the boat
anchor gear, except this one looks very close to new. Of
course it works fine also.
The meter unit is in a very nice light gray / dark gray enclosure,
with a remote sense unit which has copper plating (still shiny).
There are provisions for using a second remote sensor and
switching between the two. This sensor is model SWB, and
says it is good to 225 Mc. Of course it is for 50 ohm systems,
and has an SO-239 on each end of the sensor. $50
Micronta 21-525B Field Strength and SWR Meter
Covers 3 to 30 MHz, to check your SWR or to use to
check your field strength.
This meter works fine and looks close to new, with no scratches.
It is in its original box, with the paper work for $25.
B & W Model 595 "Protax" Coax Switch
This is the switch that is in a rectangular box about 9
inches long, with seven SO-239 connectors coming out
of the back. It is B & W's top of the line "Protax" series,
which means that it grounds all unused antennas. It will
switch up to 6 antennas.
This one works 100% and looks really great -- close to
new condition.
With the paper work for $45.
Unadilla W2AU "ANsulator" For Sale:
The Unadilla W2AU ANsulator Antenna Center Insulator is
handy for building all sorts of dipoles, quads and yagi antennas.
It includes a built in lightning arrestor. Also included is a top
eye-bolt to support the antenna. There are strong eye bolts
and spade lugs on either side for the antenna wire. It has an
SO-239 connector, designed to accept a standard PL-259
for easy feedline connection.
This particular unit appears to have never been used, but since
it came from a silent key estate, I can not verify. It is in its
original
box, with paper work. Not a scratch on it. $12
Vintage B & W model 426 low pass filter
B & W TVI filter, cuts off just above 10 meters,
and will handle 1500 Watts. SO-239 connector on each end.
This is an older model that seems much heavier duty. It weighs
almost twice as much as the newer model, and looks like it
would take more power. It likely was made in the days that
plate modulated AM was the rule. $30
CW items:
Bencher BY-2 Paddle
This is the "All Chrome" Bencher, including the chrome
base. It is in nice shape, and of course has the nice
Bencher touch. $80
MFJ 422 B electronic keyer
This keyer includes sidetone, and has adjustments for
volume, tone frequency, and weighting, as well as speed.
It will key either positive or negative voltages, and is
powered by an internal 9 V battery, or external 5 to 9
volt supply.
It is made to go on the back of a Bencher Paddle.
It works 100%, and looks great also. With paper
work for $45.
Generic Code Key
This is a very generic code key. It is not fancy, but is adequate
to get the job done. It is mounted on a nice wood base that is
finished and looks very nice. $18
