Computer outage

Hi, all and sundry,

My computer crashed a horrible crash (most likely suspects: PS or
processor - not sure which at the moment) and I no longer have any
email prior to three days ago. I also don't have any addreses or
phone numbers, clues what I was buying from whom, who was donating
what to The Cause, who was next on the list of people Igor's mighty
minions were to "educate" or much of anything else. As Riley would
have said, "What a revoltin' development this is."

On a slightly different note, an OT I knew (one of my mentors in my
early days in electronics & ham radio and the one who taught me how to
grind crystals) passed away and the gentleman handling the estate
knows of my penchant for crystals - or "Quartz Fever" as he calls it.
A cache some 400 of them was uncovered which he's sending me but he
told me there may be another one since he was known to have had well
over a thousand of them, the only other person I knew to match what I
had when I was grinding them for other hams. While I know he
preferred the larger holders like the FT-171, he also had a massive
inventory of WW II surplus plus a good number of prewar crystals of
about every imaginable type. There's no telling what will come in
this package or, if there is a second one, what will be in it.
Whatever there is, it should be fun. :-)

I guess there will be a lot of crystals in my life. Again. This is a
good thing.

Best regards,

Michael, WH7HG
