Hi Bob,
    Yes, it can be re-wired for 120vac input, I'll send you a .pdf of the 
manual separately.  But, of course, be aware that it'll draw a heckuva lot 
(technical term there) of current if operated anyshwere near rated 
input/output.  For an idea, note that they use a 15 amp fuse when wired for 
240v, so you could be looking at 30a at 120.
    I recently acquired a 2k-2, haven't fully ckd it out prior to trying it 
out.
